Michael D’Andrea Jr., a 3rd-generation flooring expert, continues a family tradition of over 100 years.
In my 23 years as owner/operator, I've upheld a strong commitment to excellence. I've learned my tradecraft from two uncles and working alongside New England's top installers. As the owner, I'm dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction in every aspect of our work. We approach each project with the same care as if it were our own home.

Dad, we are dedicating D’Andrea Floor Design to you! There is absolutely no way I can describe in words how much you mean to our family, although you are not here and the physical form, we know that you are looking down on us with that big smile so proud of the business that we have built!
None of this is possible without you, what you have done for me when I was a boy, all the struggles that you went through to provide for our family, all the love that you shared with mom, Samantha, myself, and anybody who was around you never went unnoticed. You are the life of the party, your smile could brighten up the darkest of days, you’re a big bear hug made anyone that you touched feel safe immediately.
When I was a boy, 17 years old, about to begin my journey into the Flooring trade, you put up every last dollar you had to get me into my first van because you knew how much that this job meant to me. It was not just a job, but I was building my career and you saw that. You saw how much pride that I took in my work, and it is all because I watched you work tirelessly your entire career. You worked days you worked nights you worked 52 weekends straight once, you were so proud of that!
I get my hard work, drive, grit, determination and dedication to the trade from you, I watched you come home late wiped out from the work week, I watched you pick yourself back up after every time you had fallen, I watched you give everything in your existence to your family, and now your legacy will live on through D’Andrea Floor Design.
I watched you give customers amazing financial breaks, I watched you build Additions, remodel stairs, build homes from frame to finish. That would leave Customer’s in awe with your workmanship. You are a master, carpenter, and a master stair builder. You told me once that you were the happiest in a pile of sawdust!
When I was 17 years old, I’ll never forget the conversation we had in your bedroom, where you said to me” Michael, your uncles have offered to teach you the Flooring trade” I’ll never forget that day it was the beginning of this amazing journey!
As we now elevate our business from installation, into storefront, and direct sales, We will think of you every step of the way. Thank you Dad for everything that you’ve done to help me become the man I am today! We love you so much!
